The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, by Mark Twain, has been the source of much controversy over the years due to the frequent use of the word “nigger” and other racial slurs. In response to the news that a publisher will re-release the book replacing “nigger” with “slave”, I've blacked out the entire text of the book with acrylic, except for the 212 instances of the word.
