Flags from El Salvador, Venezuela, Honduras, and Guatamala were unraveled thread by thread. These were then tied back together, end to end, and wrapped around an aluminum metal cot. The piece explores the dismantling and reassembly of cultures, traditions, and heritage of those seeking aslyum in the United States.
